To be successful as a Purple Team Consultant, you should have experience with:
* Working in a SOC with knowledge of enterprise-grade security tools such as Splunk, MDE, and Sentinel.
* The triage and investigation of security incidents.
* Large data analysis, data manipulation, and providing insights into disparate data sets.
Additional valued skills include:
* Knowledge of current security trends and risk areas like cybercrime, fraud, and financial crime.
* Experience with data analysis using ELK.
* Experience with Cloud technologies.
This role will be based in either our Knutsford or Glasgow office.
Purpose of the role: To monitor operational controls, implement and manage security controls, and learn from past incidents to protect the bank from cyber-attacks and respond effectively to threats.
Accountabilities include:
* Managing security monitoring systems to detect and respond to cyber security incidents, minimizing system damage.
* Identifying emerging threats and attack techniques, and collaborating to enhance industry knowledge.
* Managing and analyzing security logs, events, and alerts.
* Triage of data loss prevention alerts to prevent sensitive data exfiltration.
* Managing cyber security incidents from detection to resolution.
