JOB SUMMARY Ezee Fiber is seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive, Market Expansion, to grow market share within the small-to-mid-sized business (SMB) segment by expanding Ezee Fiber’s commercial network footprint. This quota-carrying role is responsible for identifying buildings, landlords, developers, and commercial properties near the Ezee Fiber network and securing access agreements that enable future fiber deployments and revenue opportunities. The Market Expansion Account Executive works closely with Engineering, Construction, Sales, Marketing, and local market teams to advance commercial build opportunities, ensure timely project execution, and activate newly “lit” buildings for sales targeting. This role is critical to accelerating network expansion and driving long-term business growth. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Market Expansion & Revenue Growth • Own and achieve assigned monthly and quarterly quotas related to network expansion and commercial enablement. • Identify and pursue commercial buildings, landlords, and developers within proximity to the Ezee Fiber network. • Drive strategic footprint expansion through joint trench, commercial new build, and redevelopment opportunities. • Research, qualify, and advance commercial development projects for internal review and execution. Landlord & Developer Engagement • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property owners, developers, and commercial builders. • Secure landlord access agreements and partnership approvals to support network expansion. • Communicate the value of partnering with Ezee Fiber on commercial fiber build opportunities. • Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements that support Ezee Fiber’s growth objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner closely with Engineering, Construction, Project Management, and Sales to ensure feasibility, alignment, and successful project completion. • Liaise with sales leadership to communicate newly enabled (“lit”) buildings and priority sales targets. • Coordinate with Marketing, Sales Channels, and Local Market Engagement teams on builder events, marketing initiatives, and community outreach. • Work with local operations to address and resolve issues raised by builders, customers, or municipal stakeholders. Reporting & Market Intelligence • Provide regular daily and weekly updates on pipeline activity, project status, and expansion progress. • Maintain accurate documentation of opportunities, agreements, and forecasts in CRM systems. • Gather and share market intelligence related to competitors, new developments, and commercial growth opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field preferred but not required A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, account management, or account executive roles, preferably within telecommunications, fiber, construction, real estate development, or infrastructure-related industries. • Proven business development, sales, or account executive experience with a focus on • new customer acquisition or market expansion. • Demonstrated success working independently in a field-based, quota-driven role. • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. • Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through abilities. • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment. • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid Driver’s License PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The associate is required to communicate effectively, analyze information, and remain in a stationary position for portions of the workday. Regular movement throughout the assigned territory is required, including walking commercial properties and attending meetings. The associate may occasionally move up to 25 pounds. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Local travel within the assigned territory is required. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be necessary to attend meetings, site visits, or industry events.
