Quest is recruiting on behalf of a professional nursery in the Isle of Man for an experienced Estate Garden Supervisor to support the production of temperate plants.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous experience working in a professional nursery environment and confidence managing day-to-day plant production tasks to a high standard.
Main Duties Following seed sowing protocols
Pricking out seedlings
Potting up and potting on
Watering and feeding crops
Maintaining healthy, high-quality plant production
Supporting general nursery operations as required
Full-time staff are on site to assist with routine duties, but this role requires someone capable of working independently and bringing professional nursery experience to the team.
Requirements Previous experience in a professional nursery environment
Good plant husbandry and propagation skills
Reliable, practical, and organised approach
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
Package £40,000£45,000 pro rata, depending on experience
40-hour working week
Potential assistance with temporary accommodation
Immediate start available, subject to Isle of Man work permits
