Part Time Receptionist
Responsible for dealing with all matters concerning the non-clinical care of patients either Face to Face (F2F) or by telephone. A professional and flexible approach is essential for the day to day running of the practice and in the approach to future developments.
Job Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken by members of the team may include any or all of the following:
· Ensure practice policies are followed and accurate records are kept.
· Being the first point of contact with patients either by telephone or F2F.
· Processing F2F and telephone requests for appointments, visits and telephone consultations and ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional.
· Prescription processing.
· Opening up/locking up of practice premises and maintaining security in accordance with practice protocols.
· Computer data entry / data collection and collations; processing and recording information in accordance with practice procedures.
· Receiving, checking and signing for deliveries.
· Filing of notes and records.
· Taking messages and passing on information, which at times may be confidential and sensitive.
· Cover for holidays and sickness for the Reception Team as when needed is essential.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a GP Practice and using EMIS Web and DOCMAN would be beneficial.
Part time hours: Contracted to 15 hours per week
Monday 1.00pm - 6.00pm
Wednesday 10am - 3.00pm
Friday 1.00pm - 6.00pm
