Behaviour Support Assistant – Secondary Alternative Provision, Ferryhill

We are recruiting a Behaviour Support Assistant for a specialist Secondary PRU in Ferryhill. The school supports students who may have experienced challenges in mainstream education and require additional behavioural and emotional support.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Supporting pupils to access learning successfully
* Assisting with behaviour support strategies
* Helping students manage emotions and regulate behaviour
* Promoting positive social interactions
* Supporting both academic and personal development
Ideal Candidate:
* Confident, resilient and adaptable
* Able to build strong relationships with young people
* Experience supporting SEMH or behavioural needs is desirable
* Committed to improving outcomes for students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
