We are looking for a Menswear Department Manager with a 'can-do hands-on' approach who can work under pressure and have the positive mindset to problem solve.
The ideal candidate must be a responsible individual with great attention to detail.
Responsibilities
* To ensure a high standard of customer service is provided by all Departmental Staff
* To deliver training to ensure team have the capability and confidence to deliver their role.
* To lead colleagues to work with purpose, delivering outstanding performance against all relevant targets across the Department.
* To have a hands-on approach with customer service and lead by example.
* To have a hands-on approach with the receiving, unpacking, pricing, and delivery of stock on the shop floor. These are fast turnover Departments of high volumes of stock that require passion and drive to keep stock turn up to date.
* To have full responsibility for the Department stocktake and results.
* To implement and monitor high visual merchandising layout standards to ensure good disciplines regarding stock displays and pricing are maintained to maximise sales.
* To create reports on sales, budgets and adjust strategies accordingly.
* To maintain trust relationships with suppliers/reps when they visit the store.
* Influence and develop relationship with Buyer, to identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trends.
* To assist the buyer by sometimes attending exhibitions to remain up to date with the market's trends.
* To deal with customer complaints promptly and efficiently.
Requirements
* Experience as successful a manager within a high turnover fashion business.
* Current relevant experience
* P&L expertise with impressive commercial acumen.
* Being able to effectively lead teams.

* Being able to communicate effectively.
