Overview
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You can also expect to support the clinical team in a specific area, such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. Like everyone here, as a Senior Care Assistant, you'll always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents as well playing your own part in creating an environment that's warm, welcoming and vibrant.
Responsibilities
Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants, in partnership with the Deputy General Manager. Provide support to the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. Uphold residents' dignity and preferences and contribute to a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.
About You
You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Bank Senior Care Assistant. We also require specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for warm-hearted, compassionate individuals committed to giving each resident individualized care and support. You'll have opportunities for ongoing training and development, with potential progression to roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.

Hours
As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when needed (e.g., for annual leave or sick leave), the hours and days you work will vary.
