About the School
This is a full-time position within a specialist educational setting supporting children with additional needs, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Pupils may present with a range of needs, including autism spectrum conditions, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and other complex learning difficulties. The role involves providing tailored support to help pupils access the curriculum, develop life skills, and achieve their individual goals within a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with school aged children
- Experience of pupils with SEMH or ADHD
- A passion for the progress of SEMH pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
