Are you passionate about food and making a real difference in the lives of others? We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Ridgemount Banstead.
Your role will involve:
* Assisting in the preparation of meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
* Serving meals to residents in a friendly and caring manner.
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
* Washing dishes and ensuring all food preparation areas are kept tidy.
* Following food safety regulations and health & safety guidelines.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has a caring and patient nature, with an understanding of dementia care.
* Can work well as part of a team.
* Is reliable, flexible, and able to work on a zero-hour contract basis.
* Experience in catering or a care setting is preferred but not essential – training will be provided.

Ridgemount in Banstead is home to well-trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 66 residents. At Anchor, we pride ourselves in providing 24-hour care and specialised services for elderly people, the beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver.
* Ridgemount is located just 2 min walking distance from Banstead Town Centre where bus stops are located. The area is nice and quiet. We have on-site parking where staff can park their cars as well.
* We support our colleagues with a process that includes arranging regular and frequent meetings to review their work and to provide development and support along their way climbing up that ladder to better themselves. Staff recognition is important in Ridgemount & rewarded each month for staff members going that extra mile in the workplace with employee of the month schemes.
* We have been awarded the Anchor Inspires Award. Staff and Residents have worked together by planning and then implementing the changes to the environment.
