About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Research Analyst (Contractor) with deep knowledge of the refrigerators and air conditioners market. You will lead research across Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, UK, France, Germany, Italy, and the USA, spanning both consumer and commercial segments.
This position blends primary research, market sizing, data modelling, and vendor landscape analysis, ideal for someone who enjoys analytical independence and delivering high-impact insights.
What You'll Be Doing
Market Intelligence
* Conduct structured interviews with manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and commercial accounts.
* Build high-quality sell-in and sell-through datasets and country-level insights.
Market Sizing & Vendor Landscape
* Develop detailed market models (units, revenue, ASP, channel mix, consumer vs. B2B).
* Map vendor positioning and market shares.
* Triangulate findings using both primary and secondary research.
Industry & Operations Insight
* Analyse pricing, segmentation, distribution models, partnerships, ODM capacity, and supply chain trends.
* Assess energy-efficiency standards, import/export rules, and cross-border shipments.
* Identify and examine grey-market activity where relevant.
Reporting & Communication
* Lead updates to vendor market share databases and forecast models.
* Present research findings clearly to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with global analysts to support client needs.
What You'll Bring
* Several years' experience in home appliances/HVAC research, vendor-side roles, or consulting across GCC, Europe, and/or the US.
* Strong B2B market experience preferred.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Ability to run interviews, synthesise diverse datasets, and work independently.
* Broad industry network and strong cultural awareness.
