Internal Account Manager
Location: Office-Based, Luton
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 basic + circa 20% commission + excellent benefits

The Role:
As an Internal Account Manager, you will be managing an allocated portfolio of existing accounts. Your key responsibility will be to nurture and develop these relationships to increase business within your accounts through excellent customer service and cross-selling opportunities. With a focus on growing existing relationships, you’ll also be looking out for new business development opportunities to further increase the company’s market presence.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring their needs are met and relationships are consistently nurtured.
* Identifying growth opportunities within your existing accounts and cross-selling various product lines to increase revenue.
* Maintaining regular contact with customers and providing proactive solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Monitoring the market for new business development opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic, and relationship-focused sales professional who thrives in an internal sales environment. The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience in selling electrical products such as cables, connectors, cable management systems, or related electrical accessories.
* A background in internal sales, telesales, or account management within the electrical wholesale/distribution sector.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage both existing accounts and potential leads.
* A can-do attitude, keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
