As a Customer Side Repair Technician, youll work outdoors year-round supporting our External Engineering teams to repair and replace water supply pipes to homes and commercial premises. You'll play a vital part in ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely by assisting in excavation, reinstatement and pipework repair activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead engineers with pipe tracing, excavation, and reinstatement
- Repair and replace water pipework under supervision
- Operate small plant and equipment (training provided)
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, carrying out physical manual tasks
- Engage positively with colleagues and customers
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in labouring or physically demanding work
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings when on-call
- Basic Maths and English skills
- Resides within SES Waters supply area
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in plumbing or reinstatement
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
- E-literate and familiar with safe working practices
- Possession of personal hand tools
