Role Profile:
Square Peg Associates is seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join our client's esteemed business near Preston. This vital role is part of the finance team and involves a variety of accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Purchase Ledger: act as the first point of contact for enquiries, set up new suppliers, and ensure invoices are checked and entered correctly
* Conduct weekly payment runs
* Process expenses and mileage claims
* Perform month-end reconciliations
* Reconcile bank and cash daily
* Handle credit control
* Perform ad hoc duties as required
Candidate Profile:
We seek a proactive individual experienced in all aspects of accounts management, preferably as an Accounts Assistant or Administrator. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently within a small finance team.
