Working closely with the Senior Procurement Manager and key business stakeholders, you will lead strategic third-party engagements across allocated business units. This role combines procurement delivery, commercial negotiation, supplier management, and business partnering within a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
You will support the development and execution of procurement strategies across a range of Indirect categories, enhance supplier relationships, and ensure strong governance and regulatory compliance across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development and delivery of procurement strategy across indirect spend categories.
* Lead procurement projects and commercial initiatives to deliver efficiencies and cost savings.
* Manage supplier relationships throughout procurement activities and contract lifecycles.
* Negotiate and execute complex commercial agreements with strategic suppliers.
* Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders and central functions including Legal, IT Security, and Financial Crime.
* Identify market trends, commercial opportunities, and innovative supplier solutions.
* Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes and ways of working.
* Support third-party risk management and governance activities.
* Contribute to the development of a robust and commercially effective supplier ecosystem.
About You:
We are looking for a commercially astute procurement professional with strong stakeholder management skills and experience operating within complex corporate environments.
You will ideally have:
* Strong knowledge of strategic procurement and category management methodologies.
* Experience managing indirect spend and complex supplier relationships.
* Proven commercial negotiation and contract management experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable insight.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills across senior stakeholders.
* Experience delivering procurement savings and efficiencies against targets.
* Ability to operate effectively within matrix or virtual team environments.
* Experience within financial services or broader professional/services-based organisations.
Desirable Experience:
* Knowledge of UK financial services regulatory and legislative frameworks
* Relevant professional qualification such as MCIPS or MBA
