What to expect
As a People Data and Insights Analyst you will join us on our journey and undertake a valuable role as a key member of the People Data & Insights team. You will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of functional objectives, always modelling the Post Office behaviours, and demonstrating a Postmaster first mindset.
Acting as an analyst, the People Data and Insights Analyst will demonstrate their expertise in delivering accurate and insightful People analytics through advanced data analysis, dashboard development, and data visualisation, following best practice across data analysis, visualisation, reporting, and HR systems management.
The People Data and Insights analyst will apply their analytical expertise to enhance the quality, accessibility and usability of people data across the organisation. They will focus on enhancing reporting outputs, enabling self-service capabilities and ensuring data accuracy through governance and compliance with regulatory standards.
By supporting the development of dashboards, training resources and insight-led tools, they will help foster a culture of high-performance, inclusion and data-driven decision-making across the People Division

What you’ll need to succeed
Experience and Qualifications
* Track record of working cross-functionally with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver strategic objectives and data-led outcomes
* Demonstrated experience of completing assignments to a high standard to achieve objectives and key results.
* Applied expertise across relevant tools, systems and procedures to achieve business results, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
* Advanced Excel skills with proven ability to streamline processes, apply complex formulas and train non-technical users through practical tips and guidance
* Power BI expertise using both DAX and M to build efficient data models and create clear, impactful visualisations for business users
* Expertise in SuccessFactors reporting, including both Canvas and Story, with a strong track record of designing and delivering reports that provide accurate, actionable HR insights
* Proven experience designing, building and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate, including multi-step flows, approvals and system integrations
Skills and Capabilities
* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and network across Post Office to build connections.
* A true problem solver with the ability to make decisions and solve common problems whilst knowing when to escalate complex issues that may impact delivery.
* Adopts a continuous improvement approach using data and insights to help inform decisions.
* Demonstrates a strong commitment to upholding the values and principles of Post Office

* Experience of dashboards in Power BI and SuccessFactors is strongly desired
* Practical experience using Power Automate to streamline workflows, automate reporting and enhance operational efficiency
* Excellent written communication and documentation skills (e.g. report writing)
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Builds strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
* Brings a positive attitude, energy, enthusiasm and care. Compassion and flexibility are essential to adapt to changing priorities
