Department of Information Studies at UCL is seeking to appoint a full-time lecturer (teaching) starting in the academic year 2026.
About the role
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching in areas such as scholarly communication, publishing platforms, multimedia or interactive publishing, and publishing or information ethics. They should have expertise in the creation, circulation, and use of information across physical and digital spaces, and possess a strong grounding in the critical study of information environments. The role involves interdisciplinary teaching, supervising undergraduate research, and coordinating large-scale projects, with a focus on diverse and international student backgrounds.
The teaching will focus on modules in the Information in Society BSc at UCL East and MA Publishing at UCL Bloomsbury, including developing new modules and supervising dissertations. The role is full-time and open-ended, starting in the academic year 2026.
