We’re seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join one of the UK’s most respected textiles and manufacturing businesses. The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer position is commutable from the following locations: Blackburn / Bolton / Oldham / Burnley
Shift in place:
The Maintenance Engineer will be required to work a Continental shift – 4on-4off – 2days – 2nights. 12-hour shift – working 7am till 7pm with 277 hours holiday.

Requirements:
9. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on factory machines.
10. Overhaul, upkeep, and repair of all plant machines
11. Responding to breakdowns
12. Overhaul of gearboxes, pumps and motors, Temp Controllers, Granulator’s, Shredders.
13. Repairs to pneumatics and hydraulics
14. Previous experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Fitter in a manufacturing or production environment
15. We are looking for a proactive individual who can work well within a team but also to their own initiative.
16. Ideally the right individual with be Apprentice trained.
17. Holding a NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical engineering
