We are working closely with a financial services business to assist them in recruiting for a Controls Assurance Manager.
This position will own the end-to-end delivery of the AAF 01/20 report, working closely with all three lines of defence, and managing a small team, whilst acting as the SME on internal controls and assurance frameworks.
Your work will directly contribute to maintaining a strong control environment across all operational areas, supporting compliance and building confidence in the way we deliver pensions administration.
Ultimately you will design, implement and maintain a comprehensive control monitoring framework, identifying gaps, weaknesses and risks within existing control processes, recommending improvements where required.
To be considered you will have experience in controls assurance with an understanding of regulatory requirements, be credible and have strong stakeholder skills.
Whilst the organisation has multiple locations across the UK, there is a preference for this person to be based either in the Midlands of the North. The company is flexible of time spent in the office, and operates a leading hybrid working policy.
