This role reports to the Training Manager and is focused on providing coordination and administration resource to the BBC account.

Working closely with the central Learning & Development team to ensure that all training is aligned with client requirements, EMCOR UK's learning and development and business strategies, company goals and enhances employee skills to support professional development. Monitoring training compliance and updating the business online learning management system to ensure training activities are correctly recorded.


Responsibilities

* Training Matrix & Reporting: Collaborate with Training Managers and senior leadership to assess training needs and create/maintain a comprehensive training matrix and structured training plans for all BBC employees. Maintain records of employee training and certification status, preparing reports on training activities and results as required.
* Training Authorisation: Advise and guide BBC employees on available programmes. Manage learning requests for BBC employees. Direct all training requests through the automated link to the central L&D Smartsheet. Ensure correct authorisation routes are up to date with the central L&D team. Complete training support agreement forms to align with current practices and authority routes, including qualifications requests. In the event of leavers, work with the central HR and L&D teams to recover any funding costs as per terms of the agreements.
* New Starter Induction: Support Training Manager to ensure all new starters receive a comprehensive induction programme. Work with BBC HRBP and central Recruitment teams to ensure all new starters attend monthly virtual Corporate Welcome sessions, reporting on attendance levels and tracking down those employees who fail to attend (supporting their attendance at another date).
* Programme Coordination: Plan, schedule and coordinate internally and externally delivered training sessions for BBC employees, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Liaise with BBC event staff to book training facilities on-site. Ensure on-site catering is arranged for site-based training events, workshops, roadshows and L&D events. Prepare and disseminate pre/post course training materials and handouts. Manage attendance records and record these on individual LMS profiles. Ensure feedback evaluations are completed after each programme. Manage attendance to ensure full attendance and avoid late cancellations or no-shows. Coordinate and organise BICSc training sessions for internal trainers, assessors and cleaning operatives in conjunction with central L&D and Head of Soft Services. Ensure site-based training and meeting rooms are prepared and ready to receive organisers, facilitators and delegates. Provide meet-and-greet for trainers and delegates on-site. Communicate upcoming training programmes to EUK BBC staff and keep central L&D up to date with activities.
* Ad-hoc: Cover absence or peak periods with Training Manager and other BBC Training Coordinators. Provide support at learning events/workshops as required. Other duties as required; role is site and office-based. Responsible for delivering coordination service for around 350 employees across BBC EMCOR UK. UK-wide travel is required, and a full, clean driving licence is essential.

* Proven experience in a busy administration and coordination role, with a focus on customer service
* Strong organisational and project management skills
* Experience in programme coordination and scheduling
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal English skills
* Ability and confidence to work well and communicate with all levels
* Proactive and self-motivated, comfortable working without constant day-to-day management
* Flexibility and ability to respond and adapt to changing priorities
* Good influencing and communication skills
* Ability to identify gaps in training and propose solutions to improve learning and development outcomes
* Positive attitude and advocacy of learning and development
* Professionalism in handling confidential employee information
* Collaborative approach to working with colleagues and teams
* Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning platforms useful
