In an ideal world it would be great for you to have knowledge of our products and services, but this isn’t essential. What is important is that you have experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment in an operational or commercial role - a great opportunity for a salesperson with a background in industrial B2B selling or someone with procurement/buying experience in heavy industry.
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to support the daily running of our warehouse and onsite stock areas. The role involves general warehouse tasks, stock control, and the movement of goods using pallet trucks and forklifts
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general warehouse duties to support smooth day-to-day operations.
* Perform regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
* Complete daily stock replenishment across various locations on site.
* Collect goods from the warehouse and security, including pallets and boxed items, using pallet trucks and forklifts.
* Check incoming stock deliveries and ensure items are accurately logged and put away in their correct storage locations.
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times.
* Follow all site safety rules, manual handling procedures, and equipment guidelines.
