What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Senior Engineer in Nuclear Assurance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and safety in our nuclear engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Verification & Compliance: Identify and conduct verification and compliance activities on behalf of the Owner of Authorisation Conditions 20 and 27, ensuring adherence to compliance arrangements is effectively monitored.
* Documentation Management: Author and maintain the Compliance Matrix Workbooks and Compliance Verification Plan, while reporting to the Compliance Dashboard.
* Regulatory Support: Facilitate planned internal and external inspections, collaborating closely with NSR&I Advisors.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside Quality Assurance, Engineering, Test and Commissioning, and other relevant business areas to deliver compliance verification activities as needed.
Your Skills and Experience:
We’re looking for candidates who bring a wealth of experience and expertise:
* Industry Experience: Previous experience in heavily regulated industries, such as Oil and Gas.
* Quality Assurance Knowledge: Background in Quality Assurance, Engineering & Manufacturing Engineering, or Product Assurance.

About the PNED Team:
The PNED Department is a dynamic team of multi-disciplinary professionals dedicated to delivering nuclear engineering capability across various reactor plant programs. While your primary focus will be on Authorisation Condition compliance activities, there are ample opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills in nuclear engineering and project activities. You could be involved in the entire Engineering Lifecycle for a Naval Reactor Plant—from Engineering Design Reviews to build, test, and commissioning activities. Relocation support packages are available for all Submarines roles, subject to eligibility criteria.
