We seek to instil a positive ethos of high expectations and respect for one another. We pride ourselves on our caring, nurturing and engaging environment, in which every child can thrive, feel safe and achieve. As a result, our children feel good about themselves, are happy and love coming to school. Relationships are central to our success, and we value working closely with our families and the local community. Bodriggy Academy is a 1.5 form entry primary school with two Reception classes and mixed age classes across KS1 and KS2. However, our most important resource is our people. We are a large team with a wide and varied skill set, united by a shared commitment to placing children at the centre of everything we do. At Bodriggy, becoming Headteacher means becoming part of the Bodriggy Family. Inclusion, community and childhood lie at the heart of who we are. We celebrate each child as an individual, valuing their voice, their identity and their journey, and we are proud of the inclusive practice that ensures every pupil feels they truly belong. Childhood at Bodriggy is cherished and protected; we believe it should be filled with curiosity, kindness, joy and opportunity. Our school sits at the heart of its community, and we are deeply committed to working together, staff, pupils, families and partners, to create a school where everyone feels welcome, valued and inspired to flourish.
