Pay: £42,000 - £50,000 per annum dependant on experience

YMCA Norfolk is seeking a Specialist Mental Health Practitioner to provide clinical leadership and oversight within our Professional Therapeutic Pathway service, supporting children and young people aged 025 across Norfolk and Waveney.
About the Role
You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, person-centred care through clinical decision-making, therapist matching, and outcome evaluation. Working closely with partner agencies, youll help ensure timely and effective support is delivered to those who need it most.
This is a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement, maintaining clinical governance standards, and embedding best practice across the service.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership and oversight of the Professional Therapeutic Pathway
* Assess clinical appropriateness and allocate cases based on need and therapist expertise
* Support therapists and staff with clinical guidance and supervision
* Lead on risk management and safeguarding processes
* Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
* Ensure the voice of children and young people is central to all decision-making

About You
You will be:
* A qualified and registered Psychotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Clinical Psychologist
* Experienced in clinical practice within mental health, particularly with children, young people and families
* Skilled in clinical risk assessment, governance, and outcome-based approaches
* A confident communicator with the ability to lead, support and influence others
* Committed to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion
A full driving licence and access to your own transport is essential.
