About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Health and Social Care Lecturer to join a Further Education college in London. You will deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Health and Social Care courses, supporting students to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for careers in the sector. This is a great opportunity to inspire learners and contribute to workforce development in health and care.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging lessons across Health and Social Care courses (Level 1-3, T Levels)
* Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements
* Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support
* Support students with academic and pastoral needs to promote achievement and retention
* Contribute to curriculum development and course improvement
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, employers, and placement providers
* Ensure teaching meets safeguarding, equality, and quality standards
About You
* Experience teaching Health and Social Care in an FE College or similar setting
* Strong subject knowledge within the Health and Social Care sector
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Passionate about supporting learners to achieve their full potential
Desirable
* Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
* Industry experience in health or social care settings
* Experience delivering T Levels or vocational qualifications
