Pipelayer (Utilities) - Butt Fusion Experience

About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Pipelayers / Main Layers to join an established team working on clean water utilities projects across the Didcot / Thames Valley area. This role involves the installation and renewal of water mains on major infrastructure projects, including work on leading frameworks such as Thames Water.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of water mains (MDPE, DI and associated fittings)
- Carrying out butt fusion and electrofusion welding on HDPE pipe
- Excavation, bedding, laying, jointing and backfilling
- Reading and interpreting utility drawings and plans
- Working safely in trenches and around live services
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and water hygiene
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pipelayer / Main Layer in utilities
- Strong experience in butt fusion welding (essential)
- Knowledge of clean water / potable mains installation
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or gang
- Certifications (preferred but not all essential): CSCS Card, EUSR Water Hygiene, NRSWA / Streetworks
