The Right Client - Nominate Recruitment are thrilled to be partnering with a highlysuccessful Building Services client who are seeking an Accounts Payable TeamLeader to join the team.
You will play a crucial role in managingthe Accounts Payable function. Reporting to the Finance Manager and will lead ateam of 3 staff members responsible for accurately processing invoices,managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely payments.
The Right role:
* Oversee the accounts payable functionand ensure timely and accurate
* Processing of invoices andpayments
* Develop and monitor performance metricsfor the AP team
* Setting and facilitating the achievementof team objectives
* Ensure accurate and timely month-end andyear-end close processes for accounts payable
* Review month end supplierreconciliations and approve the weekly and monthly payment runs.
* Collaborate with other departments, suchas procurement and stores, to ensure prompt resolution of queries andtimely and accurate payment of invoices
* Review and approval of company creditcards transactions
* Provide guidance on financialtransactions to the operational team and ensure compliance when postingand transacting foreign invoices for both UK & ROI entities
* Maintain and develop accounts payablepolicies and ensure standard operating procedures are up to date
* Monitor and analyse accounts payableprocesses and recommend improvements
The Right Fit:
* Minimum 3-5 years transactional financeexperience in medium organisations
* Experience working across entitiesincluding foreign based ones.
* Excellent data manipulation and Excelskills
* Attention to detail, take pride in thequality and accuracy of their work.
