Job Description
The LA and Governing Body wish to appoint a committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work as part of a dedicated team to support the new Severn Primary School Specialist Resource Base.
We are a thriving, vibrant and caring school with 400+ pupils on roll. All of our staff are great team players with a shared vision for excellence and inclusion, acting as role models for all of our pupils.
You will be part of our school family and part of a whole school team of over 50 staff.
Responsibilities
Severn SRB opened in March of this year and supports two classes of 10 pupils with complex learning needs. The successful candidate will have experience of working with emotional and wellbeing needs children in a primary setting, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to establish effective working relationships with children, staff, parents and other professionals. Good standards of literacy and numeracy are also essential.
