Join Our Team as a Mental Health Support WorkerLocation: Romsey Avenue, Nuneaton Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for an experienced and caring Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our dedicated team at Romsey Avenue – a CQC Registered home supporting with severe and enduring mental health challenges. Romsey Avenue is a residential service for adults with severe mental illness, day staff and sleep in shifts 7 days per week. Our Romsey 13 bedded service is based in the Midlands and supports adults with severe mental illness. It is a residential service with staff 24 hours including staff sleep over. What will you do? In this role, I will support individuals on their recovery journey, helping them build skills, confidence and independence. My work will include: Providing one‑to‑one key‑worker support and building positive, professional relationships Carrying out assessments and developing personalised support and safety plans Encouraging people to manage their mental and physical wellbeing Supporting individuals with daily living skills and accessing community services Liaising with mental health agencies, professionals and community groups Contributing to safeguarding and promoting a safe, supportive environment Keeping accurate records, monitoring progress and sharing information with the team Helping improve the service by offering feedback and supporting colleagues What we’re looking for: Experience supporting people with mental illness in a social care setting (paid or voluntary) Great listening skills, empathy, patience, and kindness Ability to work with digital systems (Microsoft applications, email, internet) A commitment to our values and willingness to learn Apply today and be part of a team that truly makes a difference.
