The Information & Knowledge Exploitation Lead is a vital leadership role, responsible for managing the collection, management and exploitation of M&S information and knowledge across Defence and with Allies. You will play a key role in safeguarding the organisation’s information assets and systems whilst enabling innovation, resilience, and compliance.
This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, driving excellence in all information matters and ensuring the organisation meets its obligations under key legislation, including the Public Records Act, the Data Protection Act 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Data Use & Access Act 2025.

Qualifications & Expectations

* Ability to build rapport with military and civilian partners in a diverse and inclusive environment.
* Experience with knowledge, information and data management and current technologies.
* Understanding of information governance and relevant legislation (Public Records Act, Data Protection Act 2018, GDPR, Data Use & Access Act 2025).
* Flexible with remote working arrangements as discussed at interview or with line manager.
