Springwood High School is looking for Cleaners to join their dedicated and friendly site team. You will be responsible for cleaning a designated area of the school, as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor, in accordance with the practices and procedures of the school.
Hours and Salary
* 3 hours per day, 5 days per week. Start time: 3.30pm
* Part time: 38 weeks per year plus an additional 6 weeks during school holidays (Term time + 6)
* Salary: Scale A, Pt 2, £12.26/hour
Responsibilities
* Clean designated areas of the school to the standard laid down by the school, including vacuuming, mopping, buffing, washing surfaces, removing graffiti and chewing gum, and cleaning toilet areas.
* Perform general cleaning tasks as required.
* Provide relief cover during staff absences.
* Periodically clean store rooms in designated areas and ensure cleaning equipment is kept in clean and working order.
* Conduct deep cleans during school closures.
* Be fully aware of and comply with all departmental instructions and procedures relating to Health and Safety at Work, recognizing responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
