Flexible working – 0 hours per week (As and When). Work pattern: Mon‑Fri, Sat‑Sun. Shift times vary with start times and durations depending on coverage needs. Mon‑Fri opening hours 05:30 – 17:30. Sat‑Sun shift 05:30 – 09:30.

Overview
York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management (YTHFM) is looking for an approachable and flexible Transport Driver to join our team in York. No previous experience required as full training will be provided, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential.
Responsibilities
* Transport a range of items including medical equipment, controlled drugs, food items, medical gases, pathology samples, foul linen, and furniture.
* Ensure safe delivery and security of all items during transit.
* Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
* Support the Transport Department in providing a reliable service across York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
* Note: patient transport is not provided.
