The role:
The studio is seeking an experienced Lead Programmer with deep Unreal Engine expertise to help drive the technical direction of their upcoming projects, which are currently in early development. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role within a talented team and shape the future of multiple new titles.
What you'll do:
* Lead a small team of programmers, supporting their development through mentorship, code reviews, and technical guidance.
* Work closely with the Technical Director to define technical strategy and project direction.
* Design, prototype, and implement engaging gameplay systems and technical solutions.
* Collaborate with design, art, and engineering teams to bring creative ideas to life.
* Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and stability across multiple platforms.
* Establish and enforce Unreal Engine best practices, focusing on clean, modular, and reusable systems.
* Contribute to production planning by helping define project timelines and system milestones.
What we’re looking for:
* 5+ years of professional C++ experience in the games industry.
* Previous experience in a lead or senior role, with a track record of mentoring and guiding a programming team.
* Strong Unreal Engine expertise.
* Multiple shipped titles, including Unreal Engine projects.
* Experience with console development.
* A versatile problem solver, able to adapt to different areas of game development as needed.
