We are recruiting for a well-known organisation currently seeking a Senior Supported Housing Worker to join their Wiltshire team. This organisation delivers high-impact services supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and those in early recovery from substance use. This is a permanent position, ideal for experienced candidates seeking long-term employment with a supportive team.

Your new role

As a Senior Supported Housing Worker, you will play a key leadership role across two supported housing services in Salisbury and Trowbridge. As Team Leader, you’ll manage a team of six staff across:

- Wiltshire Single Homeless Service – providing amodation and tailored support in Salisbury for single adults experiencing homelessness.
- Connect Wiltshire – a multi-agency partnership supporting individuals in early recovery or abstaining from drugs and alcohol.
You’ll provide line management and supervision, carry a small caseload, and ensure high-quality, person-centred, trauma-informed support is delivered. You’ll also handle local incidents and safeguarding matters, ensuring appropriate action and follow-up.
Key responsibilities include:

- Providing line management, supervision, and performance reviews for support staff.
- Managing a caseload of clients using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach.
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping using a client management system.
- Responding to safeguarding concerns and local incidents.
- Promoting client involvement and feedback in service delivery.
- Supporting health and safetypliance and contributing to service development.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have a strong background in working with individuals facing social exclusion andplex needs, ideally within housing, health, or social care settings. You will bring proven leadership experience, with the ability to supervise and support a team effectively while maintaining a client-focused approach. Yourmunication skills will enable you to collaborate confidently with external agencies and internal colleagues alike. You will be self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working independently, with a solid understanding of trauma-informed and strength-based practices. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance are essential, as is your willingness to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
