About the Role:
Are you excited by the challenge of building robust data pipelines and ensuring data quality at scale? We're looking for two
Data Engineering Analysts
to join our Analytics Delivery Team at East of England Co-op.
This role is at the heart of our data function, ensuring reliable and accurate data is delivered to power reporting, analysis, and business intelligence across the organisation. You'll work with cloud platforms, ETL/ELT processes, and automation tools to help shape a modern data infrastructure that supports our data-driven ambitions.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Build and maintain data pipelines using APIs, ETL/ELT processes, and workflow automation tools like Workato.
* Work with data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake and Netezza, ensuring efficient queries and cost optimisation.
* Build and design data models to support analytics and BI reporting needs.
* Test, cleanse, and validate data to ensure quality and reliability.
* Collaborate with BI Developers, Data Analysts, and business teams to deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions.
* Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.
* Leverage advanced data analytics and machine learning techniques to uncover insights, optimise business processes, and support data-driven decision making
* Continuously enhance your technical skills and contribute to process improvements.
What You'll Need:
* Proven experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data warehousing.
* Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and query optimisation.
* Experience with data warehouse platforms (e.g., Netezza, Snowflake).
* Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data modelling.
* A familiarity with machine learning concepts, techniques and technologies.
* Analytical problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
Desirable:
Knowledge of Python, Workato, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and exposure to BI tools such as Pyramid Analytics or Power BI.
