Location: Cardiff with Hybrid working Hours: 37 Hours Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Contract: Permanent Interviews: We are looking to interview as soon as possible so would encourage you to apply at the earliest opportunity What you’ll be doing You’ll lead the charge in securing the financial resources that power our mission. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality tenders, bids, and grant applications that align with Cartrefi's values and strategic direction. Day-to-day, you’ll be shaping and implementing both tendering and fundraising strategies, managing submissions from start to finish, and collaborating across departments to identify and maximise funding opportunities. To succeed, you’ll need to be a confident communicator and experienced bid writer, ideally with a background in social care or a similar sector. You’ll have the strategic mind to spot and pursue opportunities, the attention to detail to meet submission requirements, and the interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders across all levels—from internal teams to external funders and partners. As part of our operational leadership team, you’ll also help shape the culture of Cartrefi, modelling our values in everything you do. The ability to drive is essential for this role as you’ll be required to attend meetings across Wales.
