The Role:
We have taken on an exciting position with a valued client, who are a long-standing and respected dealership based in Swindon, representing one of the UK’s most recognisable automotive brands. With a strong reputation for customer care and a commitment to quality service, they work closely with both private and business customers to keep their vehicles and their businesses moving.
They are now looking to strengthen their aftersales team with the appointment of a Service Advisor, someone who thrives in a customer-focused role and enjoys working in a fast-paced automotive environment.
As a Service Advisor, you'll be the vital link between customers and the workshop. You’ll manage service bookings, keep customers informed throughout their visit, and ensure that their experience is both smooth and professional from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing incoming service and repair bookings
Providing timely updates and explanations to customers regarding work required
Coordinating with the workshop team to ensure accurate and efficient job completion
Upselling additional services or maintenance work where appropriate
Completing service-related admin duties such as invoicing and warranty claims
Maintaining excellent standards of customer satisfaction and communication
About You:
Experience as a Service Advisor (or similar role within the motor trade)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work calmly under pressure and deliver top-tier customer service
Familiarity with dealership systems (e.g. Kerridge/CDK) is a bonus
Team-focused, professional, and proactive
Full UK driving licence is essential
Package:
£26,500 basic salary, potential flexibility depending on experience.
Realistic OTE of £34,000+
Monday to Friday working hours (8:00am – 5:00pm)1 in 3 Saturdays, paid as overtime
