Job Description
* Job title: Senior Scientist
* Location: Slough
* Contract Length: 8 months (June start)
* Working Hours: 37.5 hours/week
* Pay Rate: £21.47 p/h
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and complete scientific research projects to advance our understanding of CHO media development
* Adherence to good laboratory practice including cGMP where applicable to advance our understanding of CHO media development.
* Experience with cell culture, Ambr operation, Analytics
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless project execution and delivery.
* Equipment preparation, monitoring, calibration and safety (Co-ordinate servicing of equipment and other external services)
* Preparation of media, feeds, buffers, reagents.
* Maintaining stock levels of consumables.
* Completion and peer review of laboratory documentation.
Key Requirements
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
* Experience with laboratory techniques and data analysis tools.
* A proactive and determined approach to achieving project goals and competing in a dynamic research environment.
* Top three must have experience: Ambr15, Ambr250 and cell culture with CHO
* Nice to have experience: CLC, Analytics
