Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a full-time night shift position requiring a CO or compact RN license and advanced emergency certifications.
Responsibilities Work in an Emergency Department setting providing care for patients of all ages
Full-time schedule with 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7am
Patient population includes pediatrics through geriatrics
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Provide age-specific, compassionate emergency nursing care
Utilize advanced skills in trauma and emergency care following current protocols
Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning
Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and efficient resource utilization
Mask fit testing required prior to start
Housing is available with a payroll deduction option
Professional dress code is expected at all times
Requirements Current Colorado RN license or multistate compact RN license
Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
Associate Degree in Nursing required
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), TNCC, PALS or ENPC, and NRP
Immunization records for Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella-Zoste, and Hep B
Negative QuantiFERON TB test within the past year
Influenza vaccination required during flu season (Sept 1 - March 31)
Negative 10-panel drug screen within the last 30 days
Criminal background check including OIG and Colorado CAPS check within last 30 days
