About The Role
As a Project Officer Apprentice, you will support project teams to deliver improvements across libraries, arts, leisure centres, parks, and open spaces. You will take ownership of project delivery, manage risks, and engage stakeholders. The role involves placements over 2 years within various service teams, providing training and support, including studying for an APM Level 4 qualification.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
* Knowledge and Interest: Passion for Local government and Culture and Leisure services, with an understanding of their challenges and opportunities. Interest in project management.
* Experience: Some work or volunteering experience related to community projects or public sector initiatives, demonstrating enthusiasm and potential for success in project management.
* Skills: Strong customer service ethos, effective communication, time and people management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
Additional Information
Location: Wandsworth Town and Twickenham Council Officers, with hybrid working (up to 3 days in the office per week).
