About the opportunity:
Jerry is building the first super app to help people optimize all aspects of owning a car – insurance, buy/sell, registration, loans, safety, repairs, parking, etc – a $2T market in the U.S. We started with insurance in 2019, and since then we’ve launched loan refinancing, driving insights, a repair marketplace, car diagnostics, and a GenAI-powered chatbot & voicebot. We have amassed over 5M customers, raised $240MM in funding, scaled our revenue 40X and our team to 250 across 4 countries.
We are looking for a GM of Local Expansion with a builder’s mindset who is excited by building out new growth channels (products & partnerships) on a local level. Reporting directly to our Cofounder/CEO, you will be responsible for building a playbook to grow Jerry in local markets to help us identify product/service opportunities, drive new customer acquisition and profitable growth through partnerships. You will identify and critically evaluate new partnership opportunities on a local scale (think auto repair shops or real estate agents) and develop the strategy to expand these efforts nationally. Through your influence and ability to expand our footprint in a $2T market, you will play a critical role in helping us go from 5M to 50M customers and become a $10B business in the next few years.
Ideal profile:
* Bachelor’s Degree in an intellectually rigorous discipline
* Top consulting firms or background in banking/private equity
* Proven track record of building geo-specific partnerships in a startup environment, ideally for a consumer-facing product or service
* You have relentlessly curious and think from first principles
* You are constantly raising the bar for yourself and your team in the pursuit of excellence
