Duties/Responsibilities:
* Set and implement standard operating procedures and service standards of the store.
* Manage the assigned staff for both front and back of house to ensure brand standards are achieved.
* Manage, motivate, recruit, train, and develop staff according to company policies and employment laws.
* Oversee card payment systems in accordance with company policies, prioritizing staff and customer safety.
* Maintain the effectiveness of IT and other in-store systems, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
* Manage, maintain, and report daily stock of all food and beverage items; ensure correct checking, storage, and data entry of deliveries.
* Handle health & safety, security, and emergency systems, ensuring staff and customer awareness according to policies and laws.
* Engage in ongoing training to develop personal skills and capabilities, utilizing company or approved training providers.
Our ideal Shift Manager will:
* Have experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, high-volume retail food service environment at manager or assistant manager level.
* Have a desire to progress to an Area Manager role.
