Full-time Teaching Assistant - Maghull
People Dynamix Education are looking for a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Maghull.
Responsibilities
* 8:30am-3:30pm with a lunch break
* Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils, particularly those with SEN, including autism and other additional needs
* Assisting with classroom activities and helping the teacher deliver engaging lessons
* Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development
* Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging independence
* Helping with the preparation of resources and classroom organisation
* Working closely with the teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
What we're looking for
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN (including autism)
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
* Ability to provide 2 professional references
* A patient, proactive and nurturing approach
Pay, Location & Hours
* Pay: £90 - £120 per day (depending on experience)
* Location: Maghull
* Hours: Full-time, term-time only
