As a Quality Engineer you will be working in conjunction with Project Engineers and Section Leaders, reporting directly to the Quality Management, and ultimately to the Company Directors. You should have a good working experience of Quality Management processes (Preferably AS9100, & AS13100), especially in the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Planning and Risk Management techniques.

What we offer for the position of Quality Engineer:
* £33,000 - £41,000 pa.
* Monthly productivity bonus.
* 39 hrs per week, Day shift (Monday - Thursday 07:45-16:30, Friday 07:45-14:15).

Quality Engineer will be involved with:
* This will be a customer facing role, you will be the key customer interface with multiple Aerospace customer accounts related to quality issues
* Addressing internal & external process & product non-conformance issues
* Performing root cause corrective action (RCCA) analysis
* Understanding of AS13100 and its implementation throughout the company
* Process capability techniques including SPC, MSA & control plan
* Support internal & external audits, and closure of non-conformance reports
* Support Project Engineers and section leaders in performing RCCA analysis, address product quality issues and improving departmental KPIs
* Writing and Implementing Quality Plans for Production Readiness
* Supporting NPI, FAIR activities
* Reviewing customer specifications and ensure internal processes & procedures compliance
* Health, Safety and Environment compliance.
* Other responsibilities as assigned by the management

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:
* Good leadership and communication skills
* Good analytical ability and interpersonal skills
* 7-10 years of experience in aviation sector
* Experience of working to AS9100 & AS13100
* Experience of working in a New Product Introduction environment
* Working knowledge and experience of APQP, PPAP and FMEA
* Experience and working knowledge of Problem-Solving techniques
* Experience of working with one or more Aerospace OEM requirements
* Good fluency in English language
