Overview
We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team in creating and repairing furniture upholstery. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various fabrics and materials to produce high-quality upholstered items.
Responsibilities
* Assemble furniture upholstery according to specifications
* Repair and replace worn-out or damaged upholstery
* Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and fit materials
* Perform heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture pieces
* Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fix upholstery issues
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace in the warehouse
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Upholsterer or similar role
* Proficiency in working with fabrics
* Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
* Knowledge of using hand tools and power tools effectively
* Strong attention to detail to read drawings and quality craftsmanship skills
