Destination Motorcycles, part of the Birchwood Group, is a leading dealership specialising in high-performance motorcycles from top brands including KTM, Gas Gas, Husqvarna, MV Agusta, and CF Moto. Our Solent site is dedicated to the Triumph brand, and we are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team. This is a key role in a fast-paced environment with excellent earning potential.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
Lead, support and develop a high-performing sales team
Ensure exceptional customer service is maintained throughout all sales interactions
Oversee all sales processes, including profit margins, stock pricing and presentation
Maximise the sales and profitability of the motorcycles and associated products
Liaise with the marketing team to promote the dealership and increase visibility
Work collaboratively with the Service and Accounts departments to ensure a seamless customer journey
Maintain strong working relationships with manufacturers and external suppliers
Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
Uphold all company policies and procedures in the pursuit of business goals
Lead by example and inspire the team to deliver exceptional customer service
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Proven track record in building, developing and managing a successful sales team, ideally within a motorcycle or car dealership
Experience of managing a sales team to meet and exceed objectives
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive team performance
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, performance-driven environment
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
Motorcycle licence (preferred but not essential)
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 08:30 - 18.00, Saturdays 08:30-18:00 ( 1st April – 30th September )
Monday – Friday 08:30- 17:00, Saturdays 08:30-16:30 ( 1st October – 31st March )
Location: Fareham, Solent
Salary: £30,000 Basic (£54,800 OTE)
Holiday: 22 days plus bank holidays
