Inside Sales is a commercially minded customer service function responsible for delivering excellent experiences for customers in sourcing their technology requirements. Inside Sales prioritizes customer needs while ensuring profitable sales for Computacenter. The team focuses on pre-sales, order management, and post-sales operations. Collaborating closely with GTS (Group Technology Sourcing), Country Units, and Delivery teams, Inside Sales supports both customer retention and growth.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring a great customer experience from pre-sales (quoting stage) through to delivery, including overseeing invoicing issues when necessary. A key aspect of the role is managing and developing stakeholder relationships internally and with customers, alongside supporting team development. Proactive management and identifying areas for improvement are essential to delivering the high customer experience expected.
What you'll do
* Customer Satisfaction: Accountable for the customer experience from pre-sales to delivery.
* Partner with experts across and outside Group Technology Sourcing.
* Resolve customer and internal escalations promptly to prevent disruption and minimize impact.
* Participate in customer steering committees and drive improvements.
* Analyze management reports to allocate work and identify trends.
* Practice cost-conscious actions in personnel, travel, and training costs.
People Management
* Participate in recruiting new employees.
* Organize work and measure team performance.
* Ensure staff receive necessary training and information.
* Identify training needs and support team development measures.
* Conduct regular team meetings.
Process Management
* Ensure use of Group and customer tools and processes aligned with management and customer requirements.
* Implement process changes as requested by management and customers.
* Monitor compliance with existing processes for cost/benefit efficiency.
Adherence to Policy
* Ensure team compliance with QHSE rules, procedures, and instructions.
* Participate in incident investigations and propose corrective actions.
* Monitor performance indicators and ensure the end-to-end customer experience meets standards.
* Follow Computacenter's Information Security Policies and report security risks.
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous management experience in an administrative environment.
* Good time management, self-organization, and solution-oriented work approach.
* Understanding of market and industry changes, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
* Ability to coach team members and promote process improvements.
* Knowledge of software procurement is advantageous.
* Experience with business systems like SAP, Salesforce, MS Office, etc.
* Excellent time management skills and an organized, solution-focused mindset.
