Contract Manager | Up to £55,000 £5,000 Car Allowance | Home-Based with UK Travel Are you an experienced FM professional ready to lead a national engineering team across a diverse property portfolio? We’re looking for a Contract Manager to join our team, overseeing the delivery of M&E services and ensuring compliance, performance, and customer satisfaction across the UK and Ireland. Location: Home-based (with UK-wide travel to sites as required) Salary: Up to £55,000 £5,000 Car Allowance Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Sector: Facilities Management / Engineering Services About the Role As Contract Manager, you’ll be the key operational lead for a national property portfolio, managing a mobile engineering team and ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery. You’ll act as the interface between Salisbury Engineering, Compliance, and the client, driving performance and fostering strong relationships. ️ Key Responsibilities * Lead the operational delivery of M&E services across a national portfolio. * Ensure statutory and contract compliance across all sites. * Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact. * Full P&L responsibility, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost control. * Drive team performance, utilisation, and productivity to meet KPIs. * Embed Salisbury’s Health & Safety policy into daily operations. * Deliver cultural and compliance training aligned with client and company values. * Identify and deliver team training needs and development plans. * Provide technical guidance and ensure appropriate specialist support is used when needed. * Produce and present management information and performance reports. * Lead recruitment, succession planning, and staff development. * Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and service improvements. * Ensure timely submission and accuracy of timesheets and overtime approvals. ✅ What We’re Looking For Qualifications: * GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) * NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely (essential) * NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 technical qualification (desirable) Skills & Experience: * Proven experience managing hard services across multiple sites * Strong understanding of SFG20 and engineering service delivery * Demonstrated P&L and financial control experience * Project management and client-facing experience * Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams * Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills Why Join Us?
