Job summary
Knights Pharmacy are currently recruiting for an area manager in our Redditch/Bromsgrove area.
Youwill work alongside the senior management team across a range of sites toensure smooth running of the pharmacies under their jurisdiction.
Main duties of the job
Ensure sustainable management of staffing issues (holidays/sickness etc..) by landing the staffing model based on sustainability.
1. Recruitment of staff based on the staffing model.
2. Staff optimisation, ensuring sustainable model based on companies expectations.
3. Checking in on progress in stores and ensuring that stores are performing to expectations.
4. Implementation of services and landing new services by training pharmacists and colleagues
5. Support branches in implementation of company directives and tasks.
6. Implementation and training associated with NHS national, local, or private services as directed by company.
7. Work with branch managers for holiday request, cover, and absence management.
8. Support branch managers with performance reviews and PDPs for branch staff.
9. Support in staff personnel training and complete inductions for new staff.
10. Carry out audits and investigations under directionas well as mock inspections.
11. Support branch workload where necessary.
12. Ensure branch 'leaks' are stopped.
13. Promote local engagement opportunities.
14. Ensure branches adhere to GPhC guidance for safe working practices.
15. Work with HQ team and other stakeholders as necessary.
16. Be available for project work as and when required.

Our organisation is based in England and Wales. HQ is based in Redditch. You will be working in the operations team and along side HQ.
