Employee Relations Specialist 3 months FTC
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at Brandon. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting people. You'll be part of a professional and experienced team, tackling complex challenges and making a real impact.
You will provide end to end case work, managing whole processes, providing advice, guidance and support to operational managers on a wide range of employee relations matters, including performance, absence management, conduct and grievances. You will be an autonomous, confident decision maker, ensuring fair and consistent policy application, a positive working environment and best practice approaches.
You will bring your expertise in employment law and employee relations, ideally within the care sector, with a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and its impact on ER matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Case Management - Provide expert guidance and support to operational managers.
* Policy Application - Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures in all employee relations matters.
* Advisory Role - Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on best practices for handling employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Reporting - Assist in the preparation of reports on employee relations activities and trends to senior management.
* Risk management - Identifying legal risks and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations relating to employee relations.
What You’ll Bring
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven experience in Employee Relations ideally within a complex or regulated environment.
* Strong knowledge of employment law.
* Excellent coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
* A collaborative, proactive, and values-driven approach.
* CIPD Level 5 desirable.
