My client is a market leading provider of supplies to healthcare markets including NHS, Corporate and GPs.
We now require a hands on Sales Manager to lead and organise the internal and external sales teams.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation that 3 days per week will be spent in the office in Merthyr and 2 days on the road with the external team. The position will carry approximately 10 reports.
Duties
Internal
* Map out processes and ensure the outbound telephone sales team is focused on delivering using these processes.
* Create account maps for each sales person with priorities and deliverables
* Organise sales and product training for the team
* Break down barriers to the teams success (both internal and external)
External
* Work with the external team to build territory plans based around existing and new business.
* Ensure the plans are delivered
* Monitor success and undertake gap analysis of failure
* Break down "blockers" to allow success
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Team Leader within a medical supplies, first aid, wash room supplies type environment.
* Telesales experience would be an advantage
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships.
* Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
* A serious amount of sales push to make things happen rapidly.
Rewards
* £40000 to £48000 basic
